Constitutional officers may voluntarily donate all or a portion of their salary to the General Revenue Fund Account of the State Apportionment Fund

Constitutional officers must submit a written request to the Department of Finance and Administration at least 30 days before the beginning of a fiscal year, specifying the donation amount

The donation request applies to the fiscal year following the date of the request

State employees may decline a salary increase by making a written request to their supervisor either before the increase takes effect or within 14 days after it takes effect

An employee who declines a salary increase will have their salary adjusted back to the amount preceding the proposed increase
