Amends Arkansas Code § 6-17-2403 to update minimum teacher salary schedules for school year 2011-2012 and thereafter, replacing the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 schedules.

Establishes new minimum salaries for 2011-2012 ranging from $30,999 (BA degree, 0 years experience) to $37,749 (MA degree, 15 years experience).

Sets minimum salaries for 2012-2013 and each subsequent year ranging from $31,619 (BA degree, 0 years experience) to $38,369 (MA degree, 15 years experience).

Declares an emergency to ensure the new salary schedule takes effect for the 2011-2012 school year, making the act effective upon gubernatorial approval, expiration of veto period, or veto override.
