AR SB862

Increases the Electronic Recording Commission from 9 to 11 members appointed by the Governor to adopt standards for electronic recording implementation.

Requires a majority of commission members to be county recorders and mandates that at least one member must be an active state legislator.

Maintains the existing two-year term requirement for all commission members and provides expense reimbursement in accordance with Arkansas Code § 25-16-901 et seq.

Assigns a staff member from the Bureau of Legislative Research to assist the Electronic Recording Commission by coordinating meetings, accumulating information, and providing general support.
