The Senate recognizes and commends the Children of Arkansas Loved for a Lifetime (C.A.L.L.), a collaboration between the Division of Children and Family Services and Arkansas Christian churches to improve foster care in the state.

The C.A.L.L. has recruited over 600 families since 2007 to serve as foster, adoptive, or respite care providers, including 132 currently available foster homes, 130 certified adoptive homes, and 25 respite family homes.

The organization has expanded from Pulaski County in 2007 to 20 counties across Arkansas, with the goal of eventual replication in all 75 counties by engaging local volunteers.

Since 2007, the C.A.L.L. has facilitated the placement of over 680 Arkansas children into loving foster and adoptive homes, with over 50 adoptions completed since 2008.

Over 500 volunteers mobilized by the C.A.L.L. in its first three years provided more than 122,000 hours of service to children in foster care.
