Reappropriates unexpended balances from previous appropriations to the Department of Community Correction effective July 1, 2012, totaling $3,478,807 across five accounts.

Item A: $458,943 for Drug Courts maintenance, operation, personal services, construction and renovation from Act 80 of 2011.

Item B: $219,864 for facility maintenance, renovation, equipping, construction, acquisition, expansion, replacement and improvement from Act 80 of 2011.

Item C: $300,000 for operational grants to drug court service providers from Act 392 of 2011.

Item D: $2,000,000 for maintenance, renovation, equipping, construction, contracting, acquisition, improvement and repair of Department facilities from Act 551 of 2011.

Item E: $500,000 for training and implementation of Evidence-Based Practices, Administrative Probation Sanctions, and Victim Restitution Study programs from Act 1105 of 2011.

Requires strict compliance with State Purchasing Law, General Accounting and Budgetary Procedures Law, Revenue Stabilization Law and other fiscal control laws in fund disbursement.

Declares emergency effective July 1, 2012 to ensure continuity of agency operations.
