AR HB1036

Establishes a maximum of 4 full-time regular employees for the State Board of Private Career Education for fiscal year 2012-2013, including one director, one program/field auditor supervisor, one audit specialist, and one administrative specialist III.

Authorizes up to 4 temporary or part-time "Extra Help" employees at rates not to exceed those provided in the Uniform Classification and Compensation Act.

Appropriates $400,676 from the Private Career Education Fund for regular salaries ($215,434), extra help ($32,500), personal services matching ($79,742), and maintenance and general operations expenses.

Appropriates $100,500 from state cash funds for maintenance, general operations, conferences, travel, and professional fees.

Appropriates $500,000 from the Private Career School Student Protection Trust Fund for expenses, claims, and fees.

Effective July 1, 2012, with an emergency clause declared due to constitutional restrictions on multi-year appropriations.
