Department of Finance and Administration shall create and issue a special license plate for support of law enforcement.

Arkansas Municipal Police Association may submit up to three designs for the special license plate for department consideration.

Motor vehicle owners pay $25 design-use contribution fee plus $10 handling and administrative fee, in addition to standard vehicle registration fees.

Department remits the $25 design-use contribution monthly to the Arkansas Municipal Police Association.

Special license plate may be renewed annually or replaced under existing procedures, with renewal fees also remitted monthly to the Arkansas Municipal Police Association.
