Amends Arkansas Code § 14-45-103 to establish separate procedures for filling vacancies in alderman and mayor positions in incorporated towns.

When an alderman vacancy occurs, the town council shall elect a replacement by majority vote at the first regular meeting after the vacancy to serve the unexpired term.

When a mayor vacancy occurs, the town council may either elect a replacement by majority vote of the aldermen at the first regular meeting, or call for a special election to fill the position.

Any elected or appointed replacement shall serve until the unexpired term is completed, replacing the previous language regarding service until the next biennial election.
