AR HB1511

Directs the Department of Finance and Administration to issue special license plates for the Little Rock Air Force Base, designed in consultation with Air Power Arkansas and numbered consecutively.

Establishes fees for special license plates including: standard vehicle registration fee, up to $25.00 design-use contribution to Air Power Arkansas, and $10.00 handling and administrative fee for the State Central Services Fund.

Requires the department to remit design-use fees and renewal fees to Air Power Arkansas on a monthly basis.

Allows special license plates to be renewed annually or replaced according to existing procedures in Arkansas Code § 27-24-1405.

Effective date of January 1, 2014.
