Appropriates $50,000 to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for the Area Health Education Center - South Arkansas in Pine Bluff from the General Improvement Fund.

Funds may be used for construction, renovation, maintenance, critical maintenance, equipment, security enhancements, technology upgrades, and library resources.

Institution may supplement State Treasury funds with grants, donations including Federal funds, and unobligated cash income to finance project costs.

All disbursements must comply with State Purchasing Law, General Accounting and Budgetary Procedures Law, Revenue Stabilization Law, and other applicable fiscal control laws.

Act becomes effective July 1, 2013, with emergency clause declared due to constitutional one-year appropriation limit and essential agency operations.
