AR HB1787

Grants the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission authority to represent the state in matters involving cooperation with other states and the federal government for wildlife conservation, management, and regulation purposes.

Authorizes the Commission to enter into compacts with other states, including the Interstate Wildlife Violator Compact, to provide reciprocal enforcement of hunting, fishing, trapping, and other wildlife laws among member states.

Requires the Director of the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission to file an annual report with the Legislative Council itemizing and summarizing all compacts entered into under this authority.

Mandates each annual report must include a brief statement of each compact's purposes, the amount of funds to be expended, and any additional information needed for the Legislative Council to determine the nature and purposes of the compact.
