AR HB1875

Adds a definition of "vote center" as an election day location where any qualified county elector may vote regardless of precinct.

Allows county clerks or election boards to establish one or more vote centers if the county has a secure electronic connection to prevent duplicate voting and unauthorized access to voter registration records.

Requires vote centers to have electronic access to computerized registration books and mandates voter identification verification by comparing name, date of birth, and address before casting a ballot.

Directs voters whose information cannot be verified in the electronic registration files to their precinct polling site to cast a ballot.

Requires the Secretary of State to promulgate rules designating electronic equipment, maintenance standards, security protocols, and procedures for vote center operations including system failure contingencies.
