Honors Greenwood High School football coach Rick Jones for being named the 2012 National High School Football Coach of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations.

Greenwood Bulldogs won their third consecutive state championship with a perfect 14-0 record in the 2012 season, establishing a school scoring record of 663 points while averaging over 47 points per game.

Coach Jones compiled a 107-16 record during his 9-year tenure at Greenwood (87% winning percentage) and has an overall coaching career record of 239-64.

Greenwood captured 7 conference championships in 9 seasons and 7 state football championships in 14 seasons, with a 38-game winning streak matching the third-longest in Arkansas high school football history.

Resolution directs that a copy be presented to Coach Jones and mailed to the Arkansas Activities Association, Greenwood High School superintendent, and athletic director.
