Amends Arkansas Code § 12-9-306 to add an exemption allowing counties to appoint multiple deputy sheriffs without restriction if the county determines the need exists.

Removes county sheriffs from the standard limits that restrict auxiliary law enforcement officers to either one per full-time certified officer or one per 1,000 residents.

Maintains existing procedures for other political subdivisions requesting additional auxiliary officers beyond standard limits through the Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training.

Preserves the unrestricted status of honorary police officers without law enforcement authority.
