Amends Arkansas Code § 16-93-705(a)(1) to require the Parole Board to issue a warrant for arrest of a parolee charged with a felony involving violence as defined under § 5-4-501(d)(2) or a felony requiring registration under the Sex Offender Registration Act of 1997, § 12-12-901 et seq.

Maintains existing authority for the Parole Board to issue warrants for any parole violation or issue a notice to appear, which remains discretionary.

Requires the Department of Community Correction to provide necessary information to the Parole Board for issuing warrants under the new mandatory provision.

Mandates that parolees arrested on warrants issued under this requirement shall be detained pending a mandatory parole revocation hearing.
