Expands glucagon administration authority to allow trained volunteer school personnel to administer glucagon to students with any type of diabetes, not just type 1 diabetes

Requires trained volunteers to be designated as care providers in a Section 504 plan and trained annually by a licensed nurse or health-care professional employed by the school district

Mandates parent or guardian written authorization before volunteer school personnel can administer glucagon to students

Requires school districts to maintain records including the Section 504 plan, list of trained volunteer care providers, and copies of parent/guardian authorization forms

Clarifies an internal reference in the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact by correcting a citation from Article VI(d) to Article VI(d)
