Candidates for elective office may use no more than 3 given names, one of which may be a nickname or identifying word, and may add a prefix showing the title of an elective public office they currently hold

Candidates may use a nonpartisan judicial office title as a prefix in a judicial election only if they are currently serving in an elected nonpartisan judicial position from the last election for that office

Candidates may alternatively use a judicial office title as a prefix if they are a candidate for circuit judge or district judge, currently serving as an appointee in that position, and have served for at least 12 months

Nicknames are prohibited from including professional or honorary titles

These requirements apply to both Arkansas Code § 7-7-305(c)(1) and § 7-10-103(f)(1) governing judicial election ballot forms
