Increases fire chiefs recommended by the Arkansas Association of Fire Chiefs from 2 to 4 members, including 2 full paid, 1 volunteer, and 1 retired or volunteer fire chief

Reduces members recommended by the Arkansas Rural and Volunteer Firefighters Association from 4 to 2 members

Increases members recommended by the Arkansas Professional Firefighters Association from 2 to 4 members

Changes ex officio membership structure to include the Director of the Arkansas Forestry Commission, Director of the Arkansas Fire Training Academy, Director of the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management or designee, and State Fire Marshal or designee

Allows the Arkansas Fire Protection Services Board to determine which positions are eliminated under the membership changes at its discretion
