Effective July 1, 2013, telecommunications companies that post generally available prices and terms of service on a publicly accessible Internet website are not required to file or maintain tariffs or price lists with the commission.

This exemption applies to electing companies authorized to determine rates for basic local exchange service, competing local exchange carriers, and interexchange carriers.

The commission does not have jurisdiction to regulate commercial mobile services, commercial mobile service providers, Voice over Internet Protocol services, or Voice over Internet Protocol providers, except regarding universal service obligations.

The deregulation of these services does not affect entity obligations under sections 251 and 252 of the Communications Act of 1934 or rights granted under those federal provisions.
