Members of the State Highway Commission and Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission cannot file for candidacy or be appointed/elected to another civil office during their term of service.

The term restriction continues through resignation, impeachment, or removal from office and does not expire early due to these events.

Expands existing employment restrictions on constitutional officers to also apply to members/officers of constitutional commissions regarding state agency employment.

Spouses of constitutional commission members are subject to the same employment restrictions previously applied only to spouses of constitutional officers, including prohibitions on state agency employment without approval.

Former constitutional commission members cannot register as lobbyists for one year after expiration of their term of office.
