Notes 46 players were named to the Southland Conference Academic Honor Roll for Fall 2012 and the Bears maintained the highest Academic Progress Rate in the Southland Conference for the second consecutive year

Honors Head Coach Clint Conque as 2012 Southland Conference Coach of the Year, Quarterback Wynrick Smothers as Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Year, and individual award winners Corey Howard and Jonathan Woodard
