AR HB1030

Establishes a maximum of 4 regular employees for the State Board of Private Career Education for fiscal year 2014-2015, including a board director, program/field auditor supervisor, audit specialist, and administrative specialist.

Authorizes up to 4 temporary or part-time "Extra Help" employees as needed at rates not exceeding those provided in the Uniform Classification and Compensation Act.

Appropriates $433,552 from the Private Career Education Fund for personal services (regular salaries of $237,339, extra help of $32,500, personal services matching of $90,713) and operating expenses including travel, professional fees, and general operations.

Appropriates $100,500 from a designated cash fund for additional maintenance, general operations, conferences, travel, and professional fees for fiscal year 2014-2015.

Appropriates $500,000 from the Private Career School Student Protection Trust Fund for expenses, claims, and fees of the board for fiscal year 2014-2015.
