Reappropriates balances from Act 197 of 2013 to the State Crime Laboratory effective July 1, 2014, totaling $1,245,000 from the General Improvement Fund.

Allocates $500,000 for maintenance, renovation, equipping, construction, acquisition, improvement, upgrade and repair of State Crime Laboratory real property and facilities.

Allocates $550,000 for purchase of a Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LCMS) instrument.

Allocates $195,000 for purchase and installation of an electrical transfer switch.

Authorizes the agency to supplement State Treasury funds with grants, donations, Federal funds, and unobligated cash income to finance project costs, and requires compliance with state purchasing and fiscal control laws.
