Amends Arkansas Code § 25-19-105(b) to add two new exemptions to the Freedom of Information Act of 1967 protecting academic research at community colleges and state institutions of higher education

Exempts documents, records, papers, data, protocols, information, or materials created, collected, developed, generated, ascertained or discovered during the course of academic research that have not been published, copyrighted, trademarked, or patented

Exempts manuscripts, preliminary analyses, drafts of scientific or academic papers, plans, or proposals for future research and prepublication peer reviews that are unpublished and in the possession of community colleges, state institutions of higher education, or submitted and accepted for publication by publishers
