AR HB1106

Amends Arkansas Code § 14-269-302(a)(1) to modify eligibility requirements for parks and recreation commission membership in first and second class cities.

Commission members must be qualified electors of either the municipality or the county in which the municipality is situated (previously required municipality residency only).

Commission size remains between 5 and 15 citizens, and creation/repeal requires majority and three-fourths city council votes respectively.

Allows cities with no qualified electors living within city limits to appoint qualified county electors to the commission upon finding and ordinance.
