Re-establishes the Legislative Task Force on Intermodal Transportation and Commerce with 14 member positions including legislative representatives, state agency officials, and industry representatives appointed by July 1, 2015

Task force shall explore creation of a new unified Arkansas Department of Transportation combining highways, waterways and ports, rail, and aeronautics under one department

Task force directed to examine constitutional and legislative constraints, identify funding sources, develop transition plans, determine agency responsibilities for intermodal development, and establish a coordinating council for regional intermodal authorities

Legislative members receive per diem and mileage compensation for monthly meetings, with task force required to submit findings and recommendations to both houses by December 1, 2016

Task force expires the day after submitting its final report; Bureau of Legislative Research provides staff support
