HB 1276 - Right to Know Your Pay Act

• Requires employers with 4 or more employees to provide each employee a pay stub at least once per month in paper or electronic format.

• Pay stubs must include total hours worked and gross/net wages for hourly employees; gross/net wages for nonhourly employees; rate of pay; overtime hours and compensation; pay period identification; itemized deductions; and employer name, address, and telephone number.

• Applies only to current employees for monthly pay stubs, though employers may provide pay stubs to former employees with final paychecks or upon request within 30 days of termination.

• Employers who fail to provide required pay stubs may be assessed penalties under Arkansas Code § 11-4-206.
