Appropriates $11,000,000 to the Department of Correction for fiscal year 2014-2015, consisting of $10,030,000 for regular salaries and $970,000 for personal services matching.

Funds are supplemental and in addition to amounts previously appropriated by Act 284 of 2014 for Department of Correction inmate care and custody.

Chief Fiscal Officer shall transfer $11,000,000 from the General Revenue Allotment Reserve Fund to the Department of Correction Inmate Care and Custody Fund Account immediately upon the act's effective date.

Funds are restricted solely for payment of banked holiday compensation balances for eligible Department of Correction employees.

Declares an emergency clause due to unforeseen circumstances making existing Department of Correction funds insufficient for essential governmental services.
