Requires applicants for new intern or pharmacist licenses or new/reinstated pharmacy technician registrations from the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy to undergo state and national criminal background checks conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Allows the board to authorize reuse of a criminal background check obtained for one license or registration for subsequent applications within a designated time period.

Exempts pharmacist license applicants who will not practice pharmacy while physically present in Arkansas from obtaining an initial criminal background check.

Requires any exempt applicant to obtain a criminal background check before performing any pharmacy practice while physically present in Arkansas and become subject to all applicable provisions.
