Defines "church" as a church building and all immediately adjacent property owned or leased by the church that is used for church purposes

Prohibits new retail liquor permits within 1,000 feet of any church or schoolhouse property line, effective after August 13, 2001

Prohibits transferring existing retail liquor permits to locations within 1,000 feet of any church or schoolhouse property line, with limited exceptions

Allows existing liquor businesses already within 1,000 feet of a church or schoolhouse to transfer to a new location within 1,000 feet of the closest church or schoolhouse if the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division determines it serves public convenience and advantage

Distance measurements are calculated from nearest property line point to nearest property line point, and applies only to permit applications filed after August 1, 2015
