Changes annual continuing education requirement for brokers and salespersons from a fixed 6 hours to a range of not less than 6 or more than 9 classroom hours, with distance education equivalents also acceptable.

Establishes a 30-hour maximum cap on total continuing education requirements for reactivating inactive licenses, calculated based on the number of inactive years.

Clarifies that persons with inactive licenses are not subject to continuing education requirements while their license remains inactive, except for reactivation purposes.

Grants the Arkansas Real Estate Commission authority to require between 6 and 9 classroom hours of continuing education and to designate specific topics of up to 3 hours that must be included in annual requirements.

Allows the commission to waive all or part of continuing education requirements if a licensee cannot complete them due to extenuating circumstances.
