AR HB1722

Adds e-cigarettes to the existing smoking prohibition on all campuses of state-supported institutions of higher education in Arkansas.

Defines "e-cigarette" as an electronic oral device that provides vapor containing nicotine or other substances, including devices with heating elements, batteries, and liquid nicotine delivery systems composed of pure nicotine and propylene glycol.

Includes e-cigarette variants such as e-cigars and e-pipes under the prohibition, regardless of alternative names or descriptors used for the devices.

Removes the August 1, 2010 effective date from the smoking prohibition statute and applies the ban to smoking and e-cigarette use going forward.
