Amends Arkansas Code § 6-16-135 to modify personal and family finance course content guidelines developed by the Department of Education in consultation with the Department of Career Education

Expands required course topics to include household budgets, banking, consumer finance, debt management, credit management, insurance, taxes, life goals, decision making, job seeking skills (resume and interview preparation), and paycheck understanding

Requires all public school students to complete one unit of personal finance in either grade 11 or grade 12 before graduation, beginning in the 2016-2017 school year

Allows a personal finance course to satisfy one unit of the career focus graduation requirements under the Standards for Accreditation for Arkansas Public Schools and School Districts
