AR HB1813

Establishes two classes of bail bond agent licenses: Class 1 agents may write bonds but cannot apprehend defendants; Class 2 agents may write bonds and apprehend defendants who fail to appear in court

Requires Class 1 bail bond agent applicants to complete a minimum of 8 hours of education covering bail bondsman authority, responsibilities, and relevant laws and regulations

Requires Class 2 bail bond agent applicants to complete 100 hours of in-classroom instruction including Fourth Amendment search and seizure, use of force, lawful entry into residences, and firearms qualification

Permits licensed bail bond agents to write bonds in any county if they have a current license with a professional bail bond company and are in good standing with courts in the jurisdiction

Updates terminology throughout the code from "bail bondsman" to "licensed bail bond agent" for consistency
