Arkansas General Assembly applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention for proposing constitutional amendments.

This application constitutes a continuing application that remains valid until at least two-thirds of state legislatures have similarly applied for a convention.

Certified copies of the resolution must be delivered to the Arkansas Secretary of State, President of the U.S. Senate, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Arkansas congressional delegation members, and presiding officers of all state legislatures.

The resolution requests consideration by other state legislatures to apply for a convention to propose amendments.
