Appropriates $100,000 from the General Improvement Fund to the Arkansas Economic Development Commission for a grant to a statewide membership-based nonprofit association.

Grant funds support statewide capacity building and nonprofit workforce development through technical assistance for organizational development and products/services to improve efficiency.

Grant funding promotes a network for professional and organizational engagement within the Arkansas nonprofit sector.

Appropriations are not restricted by requirements applicable to other programs, and new rules and regulations may be adopted to carry out the intent of the General Assembly.

Act becomes effective July 1, 2015, with an emergency clause declaring the appropriation essential to agency operations.
