Appropriates $250,000 to the Arkansas Economic Development Commission for grants to cities, counties, planning and development districts for land acquisition, construction, renovation, industrial site development, intermodal facilities, rail spur construction, road and highway improvements, environmental mitigation, and water and sewer system projects.

Appropriates $250,000 to the Arkansas Economic Development Commission for grants to health-related facilities or hospitals for construction, land acquisition, improvements, renovation, maintenance, equipment acquisition, and technology upgrades.

Funds are payable from the General Improvement Fund or successor fund accounts, with recipients authorized to supplement state funds with grants, donations, and federal funds.

Appropriations and maintenance funds for the receiving agency cannot be used for purposes other than those specified in this act, and all state purchasing and fiscal control laws must be strictly complied with.

Act takes effect July 1, 2015 and was approved February 27, 2015.
