Allows teachers in grades 7-12 to voluntarily teach more than the maximum number of students permitted under Arkansas accreditation standards and receive proportionate additional compensation based on base pay and additional student count.

Permits teachers to use their conference period to teach an additional class or exceed maximum student numbers and receive pro-rated compensation for both the extra class period and each additional student taught.

Requires a written agreement signed between the teacher and school district before additional compensation is provided, applicable only to the semester in which the teacher volunteers.

Allows either the school district or teacher to decline entering into or renewing the agreement at the end of each semester with no obligation to continue past the signing period.

Protects school districts from accreditation violations when teachers voluntarily teach above maximum student numbers under these agreements, and requires districts to adopt a policy implementing this section.
