AR SB450

Adds Arkansas Code 16-10-139 to prohibit employment or contracting with judicial entities by persons convicted of a felony or Class A misdemeanor, subject to Supreme Court rules or orders.

Applies disqualification to district courts, district court clerk's offices, circuit courts, circuit court clerk's offices, and the Administrative Office of the Courts.

Allows otherwise disqualified persons to be employed or contract with judicial entities if their sentence was completed 10 or more years before employment or contracting.

Clarifies that the employment limitation does not require judicial entities to conduct or complete official criminal background checks as a condition of employment.
