Appropriates $50,000 to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for the UAMS Regional Program - South from the General Improvement Fund.

Funds may be used for personal services, maintenance and general operations, information technology equipment and software, research, and patient care and support expenses.

Institutions may supplement appropriated funds with grants, donations, Federal funds, and unobligated cash income, but cannot use existing Maintenance and General Operations funds for these purposes.

All disbursements must comply with State Purchasing Law, General Accounting and Budgetary Procedures Law, Revenue Stabilization Law, and other applicable fiscal control laws.

Act becomes effective July 1, 2015 under an emergency clause deemed necessary for uninterrupted agency operations.
