AR SB856

Adds a new Class D felony offense for fleeing on foot from law enforcement while under parole or probation supervision by the Department of Community Correction.

Elevates fleeing by vehicle from law enforcement while under parole or probation supervision to a Class C felony (from Class A misdemeanor).

Designates 19 specific violent felonies committed on or after the bill's effective date as offenses where parole eligibility is governed by stricter standards under § 16-93-615(b), including robbery, aggravated assault, domestic battering, trafficking of persons, and residential burglary.

Requires inmates transferred to community correction under parole who have their parole revoked for committing listed violent offenses to continue serving their original sentence without possibility of parole, unless the revocation offense results in acquittal, dismissal, or non-incarceration sentence.

Authorizes the Parole Board to issue arrest warrants for parolees charged with offenses listed under § 16-93-615(b)(1) or attempts, solicitations, or conspiracies to commit such offenses.
