Recognizes Ann Cornwell's 35 years of service to the Arkansas State Senate, beginning as a staff member since the 73rd General Assembly in 1981 and as Director and Chief Parliamentarian since 1993.

Honors Cornwell as the first female to serve the Arkansas Senate as its Director and Secretary.

Acknowledges her service during the terms of multiple Governors (Frank White, Bill Clinton, Jim Guy Tucker, Mike Huckabee, and Asa Hutchinson) and Lieutenant Governors (Winston Bryant, Winthrop Paul Rockefeller, Bill Halter, Mark Darr, and Tim Griffin).

Commends her professional demeanor, parliamentary knowledge, effective staff management, and dedication to maintaining Senate functions and procedures.

Directs that an appropriate copy of the resolution be provided to Ann Cornwell upon adoption.
