• Appropriates $21,794,605 from the Parks and Tourism Fund for the Department of Parks and Tourism State Operations for fiscal year 2016-2017, including $14,854,438 for regular salaries and $5,709,248 for personal services matching.

• Authorizes a maximum of 788 regular employees and 802 part-time/temporary "Extra Help" employees across various classifications and grade levels for the department.

• Appropriates an additional $52,170,991 from Conservation Tax proceeds for personal services, operating expenses, construction, and special maintenance of parks and facilities.

• Appropriates $14,875,489 from the Tourism Development Trust Fund for tourism promotion, advertising, and small festival expenses ($150,000 dedicated to festivals in communities under 10,500 people).

• Provides additional appropriations from various special funds totaling approximately $105 million for outdoor recreation grants, cash fund operations, trails grants, and wildlife observation trails, effective July 1, 2016.
