AR HB1011

Prohibits approved political action committees from making direct contributions to other approved or prohibited political action committees.

Makes it unlawful for prohibited political action committees to contribute to candidates, ballot question committees, legislative question committees, political parties, county political party committees, or any other political action committees.

Removes language allowing approved political action committees to contribute to "other political action committees" in the definition of approved political action committees under Arkansas Constitution Article 19, Section 28(c)(1)(A) and Arkansas Code § 7-6-201(1)(A).

Requires out-of-state and federal political action committees contributing more than $500 in a calendar year to Arkansas candidates, ballot question committees, legislative question committees, political parties, county political party committees, or other political action committees to comply with state registration and reporting provisions.

Updates quarterly reporting requirements to remove references to contributions made to "other political action committees" in specified sections of campaign finance reporting.
