AR HB1217

Establishes free hunting and fishing licenses for volunteer firefighters who have completed at least one year of continuous service with a fire department or firefighting unit.

Defines "volunteer firefighter" as an actively engaged member who receives less than $5,000 in total annual compensation from the volunteer fire department or unit.

Allows free licenses to be renewed annually for each year of continuous service as a volunteer firefighter.

Directs the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission to adopt rules for implementing this program.
