AR HB1302

Amends Arkansas Code § 27-67-211 to prohibit interference with traffic control devices or barricades placed by the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department or local authorities on public highways.

Makes it unlawful for a person to drive a vehicle through, under, over, or around a traffic control device or barricade, or to remove such devices and enter a closed area.

Establishes violation as punishable by a fine of not more than $100.

Requires convicted persons to pay restitution equal to the actual cost of emergency response and replacement of any damaged or lost emergency equipment.

Holds violators liable for damage to property or injury and death to persons caused by the violation.
