Defines a "slayer" as a beneficiary of a State Police Retirement System member or retirant who is convicted, pleads guilty, is found liable in civil court, or is acquitted by reason of insanity/mental incapacity for unlawfully killing the member or retirant, resulting in forfeiture of all pension and benefit rights.

Requires prosecuting attorneys to notify the State Police Retirement System Executive Secretary by certified mail when a person is charged with unlawfully killing a member or retirant, or when a member or retirant is charged with a specified offense.

Authorizes the system to suspend benefit payments upon receiving notice of charges or having reason to believe charges will be filed, with suspension continuing until final adjudication or written confirmation that charges will not be filed.

Requires members, retirants, or beneficiaries to request a waiver of forfeiture within 30 days of receiving notice, with the Board of Trustees conducting a hearing to determine eligibility.

Applies forfeiture provisions for specified offenses (theft of public funds exceeding $5,000, sexual assault or human trafficking of minors using official authority, bribery, or felonies arising from misuse of position) only to members or retirants who vested on or after September 1, 2017.
