Defines "certified county coroner" as a county coroner who has completed medicolegal death investigation training from the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training or the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators.

Authorizes county quorum courts to set the annual salary of a certified county coroner by ordinance within the maximum salary schedule under existing law.

Requires the compensation schedule prepared annually beginning September 1, 2017 to reflect a separate maximum annual salary for certified county coroners with salary adjustments made under the new provisions.
