Replaces the fixed mileage-based compensation system ($3.00 per 20 miles) with a reimbursement model for presidential electors' reasonable and necessary expenses to attend meetings.

Presidential electors shall serve without pay but are eligible for expense reimbursement from the Secretary of State at the same rate prescribed for state employees.

Persons appointed by assembled electors to fill vacancies receive the same compensation and reimbursement eligibility as appointed electors.

Presidential electors continue to meet at the office of the Secretary of State in the State Capitol Building at 10:00 a.m. on the federally appointed date.
