Board may issue temporary master electrician or journeyman electrician licenses valid for up to 6 months, renewable once, for industry projects upon submission of fee, application, and proof of current state license or meeting experience requirements.

Director of Department of Labor may renew temporary licenses for additional periods of 6 months beyond the initial renewal if actual construction exceeds one year and insufficient licensed electricians are available, with licenses restricted to the specific industry project.

Board may issue and renew temporary licenses for regularly scheduled or emergency maintenance work and shutdowns not exceeding 6 weeks on industry projects, with applicants submitting the same requirements as standard temporary license applicants.

Repeals prior subsection (e) that separately authorized temporary licenses for maintenance work and shutdowns, consolidating this authority into the amended subsection (d)(3).
